I had two projects done by Garrety Home Pros. I am very satisfied with the awning they installed. Matt was great, he paid attention to what I wanted. He explained the awning features and how it was built. In addition I had a sliding door added to my bedroom getting access to my deck. Beautiful project as well. The installers in both projects were very knowledgeable, courteous and detail oriented. Everything flawless! I recommend them 100%.

Garrety Home Pros is an incredible company. My favorite thing about them is their character. They actually care so much about seeing it through and doing the right thing. The prices are fair and I love that they do not use subcontractors. Would trust them with my home projects any day.

We recently had two sliding glass doors installed by Garrety Home Pros, and unfortunately the experience just wasn’t great. The install ended up happening on one of the coldest days of the year (18 degrees). That part is partially on us — we were eager to get the doors in and didn’t ask to reschedule. But the extreme cold definitely caused issues. Some of the caulk didn’t cure properly, and the expanding foam was affected. It also left our house freezing for two days while everything was being installed. Another frustrating part was that no floor protection was put down over our carpet, even though it was wet and icy outside. The crew was in and out all day tracking in water and dirt. I ended up laying down a drop cloth myself and cleaning up after they left each day. Once the doors were in, we noticed one sits flush with the floor while the other is about 3/8 inch off the hardwood. It looks uneven and unfinished. When I brought it up, they said they’d add quarter round or caulk to close up the gap. I just don’t understand why one was flush and one was not and for what we paid, I expected something that looked more polished from the start. What prompted me to write this review is that I recently noticed one side of each door frame is not plumb this was the last straw— about half an inch off. This js concerning not just from a visual standpoint but also for long-term performance. There were also a lot of little attention-to-detail things along the way. -fat, sloppy caulking, poor nail hole fillings, the door trim miters which were gapped. On their own, maybe none of them are huge issues, but when you add them all together, it just left us feeling frustrated and disappointed with the overall experience. Finally, no one ever followed up after the install to see how things went. I’m not expecting perfection, but for the amount we invested, I did expect better attention to detail and overall service.

We just had a retractable awning installed by Garrety Home Pros. To actually get a home improvement contractor to respond to an inquiry and show up as promised can be challenging. From the day that Dan first came out to meet with us right through to the installation, everyone in the process was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Alika, Mike and Mason were here right on time to do the install. The were an awesome crew! Clean, courteous and efficient! I would not hesitate to recommend Garrety!

It took a week and a half for someone to come and measure the window. The installation was quick and professional.
